Hubert Robert — Teatro delle Acque

Description:

Some paintings transport you. This one takes you to Italy.

Hubert Robert's 18th-century masterwork captures the Teatro delle Acque at Villa Aldobrandini — a cascading fountain framed by classical arches, figures gathering at the water's edge, ancient trees leaning in like witnesses. Reimagined with enhanced color and depth that bring out the romance of the original.

For living rooms, studies, or any space that deserves a window onto the Italian countryside.
